Maryland Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown collected 51 percent of the votes for Democratic gubernatorial candidate, while Larry Hogan gathered 43 percent of the votes for Republican gubernatorial candidate. Infact, Delegate Heather Mizeur who ran third among democrats, received more votes than did Hogan. Despite this, Hogan is confident he has enough momentum to make a case against Brown and see a republican elected governor. Hogan believes his team has more than enough time to make that case, since it's more than 100 days until the state gubernatorial elections on November 4th. He believes he can even get democrats and independents on his side.
