Maryland Governor Larry Hogan came away from his tour of the Footer Dye Works building impressed with the renovations that have taken place, and optimistic that it will prove to a tremendous economic development tool for the county. Michael Joy, developer for the $9 million renovation, said this week that governor was “very engaged” during the 30 minute walk through noting that Hogan was in real estate before entering politics and had a clear understanding of the process.
