Allegany County Emergency Services reports a high wind watch for the region.
WHAT…West to southwest winds 20 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph possible.
* WHERE…In Maryland, Extreme Western Allegany and Central and Eastern Allegany Counties. In West Virginia, Western Grant, Eastern Grant, Western Mineral and Eastern Mineral Counties.
* WHEN…From late tonight through Sunday morning. The strongest winds are most likely between 1 AM and 7 AM overnight into early Sunday morning.
* IMPACTS…Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are possible. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
