The Cumberland Times News reports a Hardy County husband and wife have been charged in connection with a fire at a Petersburg storage facility last month. The West Virginia State Fire Marshal’s Office said Hunter Todd Largent, 34, and Marci Lyn Largent, 45, surrendered to authorities on Sunday. They were each charged with second-degree arson, 20 counts of third-degree arson, 20 counts of willful injury to or destruction of property and 21 counts of conspiracy on the initial warrants. The fire occurred Dec. 14 at the 20-unit facility located at 421 Virginia Avenue. The fire marshal's office said additional felony charges will be sought against both Largents because firefighters sustained injuries during suppression efforts. The pair are being held Tuesday in the Potomac Highlands Regional Jail and Correctional Facility on $100,000 bond each.
