The city of Cumberland, with the support of local business donors, will provide a community fireworks display at dark on July 4 with a rain date of July 5. This year’s display will be shot from the area of the blue water tank near Bishop Walsh School on Haystack Mountain. No public parking will be allowed at the school and the Cumberland Police will patrol the area. Mayor Brian Grim said the new location should provide great views of even the smaller shells in the display, adding that you simply need to look for the blue water tank on Haystack Mountain near the Narrows. According to Grim, the downtown area may provide one of the best viewing experiences. He said parking at BW won’t be an option…
