Governor Larry Hogan says not to expect any more executive orders for local school districts. At the same time, the governor noted that his order forcing schools to open after Labor Day and close by June 15 is widely popular and critics will just need to accept it. Superintendents and legislators have taken issue with Hogan's executive order, saying it doesn't take into account the different circumstances and needs in each district, and subverted local and state legislators.
