The city of Frostburg is no stranger to major, often times tragic fires as it seems the community deals with fatal blazes every couple of years- but Mayor Robert Flanigan tells WCBC News its not for a lack of effort. Flanigan, in a recent interview, was asked about the city’s history of fires- many of them in recent years. He says having a background in public safety has made him keenly aware of some of the measures that needed to be implemented once he took office as mayor.
