A Frostburg man was arrested on drug distribution charges late Monday night after he allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign in the heart of the city.The Cumberland Times News reports Frostburg Police stopped Ryan Anthony Tomlinson, 20, at 11:15 p.m. at Main and Center streets. After detecting an odor of marijuana, the officer discovered a grinder containing marijuana residue and $750 on Tomlinson’s person. A backpack on the front floor area of the vehicle contained an estimated 45 grams of suspected marijuana. The marijuana, drug paraphernalia and money were seized as evidence by the C3IāNarcotics Unit, police said. Tomlinson was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana over 10 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was granted pretrial release on his personal recognizance by a district court commissioner.
