The Cumberland Times News reports police converged on the Puff Super Value tobacco shop on Potomac Street in Ridgeley after a man armed with a handgun reportedly robbed the business at about 9 a.m. Friday. This was the third armed robbery since midnight and the fifth holdup in the area in less than 48 hours. Police radio dispatches indicated the gunman fled in a Silverado truck operated by a female driver. The suspect was reportedly wearing dark-colored clothing.
