Jim Stahl, who served as chair of the Potomac Highlands Airport Authority for 12 years, tells WCBC News that he is somewhat perplexed by the number of controversies that have popped up at the airport during this year- including the decision not to allow the annual autocross event. Stahl, a local financial advisor, stepped down from the authority in 2003. He tells WCBC News it essentially comes down to the vision and philosophical approach of the authority- but adds that he doesn’t believe there would be any drawbacks or penalties if the racing event were to be held this year…
