Lt. Governor Boyd Rutherford and the Maryland Heroin and Opioid Emergency Task Force will hold a regional summit for residents of Upper Shore and North East Maryland communities who want to share information about how the heroin and opioid epidemic is affecting their region and provide recommendations on how to address it. This summit will be held on Tuesday, March 17 in Cecil County and will be the first in a series held throughout the state. Those interested in participating in the upcoming summit as a speaker or wish to submit written testimony should visit http://www.ltgovernor.maryland.gov/. Individuals who are looking to participate are encouraged to register in advance. Day-of registration will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
