Late Saturday evening Allegany County 911 dispatched several local fire companies to the Vale Summit area for a house fire that started as a flue fire.

Additional units were dispatched for a water flow situation on West Main Street at the Hotel Gunter in Frostburg.

Cold temperatures and high winds provided additional challenges for the fire crews.
