Four dogs perished in a fire yesterday afternoon on Brown Hill Road in Cumberland’s Bowman’s Addition.
The Maryland Fire Marshal’s office is investigating the cause of the 1:30 PM blaze at the Linda Martz residence.
Overall loss is said to be about $40,000 to the structure and contents.
28 firefighters responded. The Red Cross is assisting.
