An early morning vehicle accident on Route 28 resulted in the death of an Augusta, Wv man. Joe Jackson, 25, was headed south in a 2003 Nissan Altima around 5:30am Thursday morning when he lost control of his vehicle. The vehicle ran off the side of the road and rolled several times before coming to a stop.

The Mineral County Sheriff's Office is investigating.
