The Allegany County Board of Education voted unanimously at its public meeting to approve the contract of interim superintendent of schools Jeff Blank- finalizing the process that began several months ago. The contract runs through the 2019-20 school year with the board expected to begin the search/selection process for a permanent superintendent in the near future.
