A Fall For Downtown Festival will be held Oct. 13 throughout the Historic City Center pedestrian mall and business district, and Discover Downtown Cumberland leaders have a limited number of complimentary spots available to local area farmers, artisans, craftsmen, community organizations and autumn-related product vendors. The festival itinerary includes sidewalk sales, live music and activities including The Queen City Chili & Cornbread Challenge from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., during which time Jonathan Zinn, Kenneth Swanger and Jason McDonald will perform on the McCoury Family Stage. A cornhole tournament will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., with The Queen City Waiter Race set to begin at 4 p.m. Jakob’s Ferry Stragglers will perform on the McCoury stage at 5:30 p.m., with Grand Ole Ditch set to entertain audience members from 7 to 10 p.m.
