WCBC News is covering a developing story that the recent vote to make Jeff Blank the permanent superintendent of Allegany County Public Schools may have been set aside by State Superintendent Karen Salmon earlier today.
According to information we've received, Salmon made the announcement earlier today. We have a call into ACPS Board Attorney Mike Llewellyn for confirmation and clarification.
Blank was named earlier this month on a 3-2 vote over the protestations of members Tammy Fraley and Deb Frank.
Board President Bob Farrell, VP David Bohn and Llewellyn are scheduled to appear on Wednesday's Dave Norman Program.
