Congressman John K. Delaney (MD-6) will host College, Trade School and Financial Aid Workshops May 10 and May 11 in Germantown and Hagerstown. Each workshop will feature representatives from over sixty colleges and universities, trade schools and financial aid organizations. The workshop will include presentations and the opportunity for students, parents and educators to speak one-on-one with representatives.
These events are free to attend and open to the public and will be the 30th and 31st constituent services workshops Congressman Delaney has hosted since 2015.
Marylanders interested in attending are encouraged to RSVP by calling 301-733-2900.
“In today’s globally-connected, high-skill, high-tech economy, education is more important than ever before,” said Congressman Delaney. “Education changed my life and I want the next generation to have the same opportunities I had. Our goal is to connect local students and parents with as much information as possible so they can find the best program that fits their needs.”
