Maryland Sixth District Congressman John Delaney, speaking during a recent appearance in Cumberland, said he is concerned that the low level, mudslinging style campaign being waged for the White House may turn a lot of young people off- and see them become disengaged in the political process. Delaney, a democrat, said both parties are responsible for the tone of the campaign- and that too many candidates running for office are placing party above principal. He calls it an alarming trend…
