On Saturday, Cumberland Police responded to a Valley Street residence for a disturbance complaint.
When officers arrived, contact with made with a female victim who advised that 32 year old Louise Ann Mosier drove to her house intoxicated and uninvited, walked into her home and assaulted her. Officers did observed injuries consistent with a recent assault. Mosier was arrested and charged with first degree burglary, assault, child neglect, disorderly conduct, and driving while under the influence.
She was taken before the District Court Commissioner for a bond review and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center held on a $10,000 bond.

On Friday, Cumberland Police responded to a Boone Street residence for a report of an assault. Upon their arrival Officers spoke to both the victim and the suspect. The victim sustained visible injuries to her face. During the investigation the suspect, Michelle Logsdon, admitted to assaulting the victim. As a result of the investigation it was determined this was a domestic assault. Logsdon was placed under arrest and was transported to the Police Department. She was processed and taken before the Allegany County District Court Commissioner. Logsdon was released on her own recognizance.
