On May 29, 2017 at approximately 1:29 PM a Cumberland Police Officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle operated by Kendall Alexis Hayes on Park Street. As the officer was performing the traffic stop a drug detection K-9 was utilized on the vehicle. A search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of CDS. Hayes was arrested and charged with CDS Possession Other than Marijuana. She was taken before a District Court Commissioner where she was released on her personal recognizance pending trial in District Court.
