The Cumberland City Police Department is asking for information about a hit and run accident that occurred in the 800 block of Shades Lane on Wednesday, August 25^th.  The incident would have taken place sometime after 1:00 am when a parked Hyundai sedan was sideswiped by possibly a truck on large sports utility vehicle.  Anyone with information about this incident is urged to call (301) 777-1600.  Callers can remain anonymous.
