On Friday, July 17, 2015 at approximately 2:00 p.m., the Cumberland Police Department responded to CSX Transportation on Virginia Avenue in reference to a stolen motor vehicle.  Upon the officers arrival contact was made with a CSX representative who advised that an unknown female just stole one of their company sports utility vehicles.  The vehicle is a 2008 Ford Explorer which is white in color with blue lettering on the vehicle.  The vehicle displays Maryland registration, 22290M7.  The possible female suspect is described as a W/F, dark hair, and is approximately forty years of age.

.At approximately 6:45 p.m. July 17, 2015 this vehicle had been located by the Hampshire County Sheriff’s Office in Green Spring WV.  CSX has since been notified of the recovery of the vehicle and a possible suspect in this case has been developed.  A joint investigation will be conducted on this incident by Cumberland Police and the Hampshire County Sheriff’s Office.
