Cumberland’s National Night Out will be held this evening from 5 to 8 PM at the Salvation Army on East First Street in South End. The event promotes police-community partnerships, crime, drug and violence prevention, safety and neighborhood unity. There will be dozens of exhibitors, activities games, a bounce house and other inflatables, food and drink, and giveaways, in addition to a chance for everyone to see fire and police personnel and vehicles.
