On April 17th, officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to a George Street address for a reported motor vehicle theft. Upon officers arrival they spoke with a witness who advised he observed Kevin John Corcoran enter a vehicle and begin to pull away in the vehicle. The witness advised they confronted Corcoran and he exited the vehicle and left the area. Officers were able to locate Corcoran a short time later and placed him under arrest. While officers continued their investigation they learned that Corcoran had entered another vehicle and left belongings inside of that vehicle. Corcoran was taken before a District Court Commissioner where he was held on $5,000.
Kevin John Corcoran, age 53, Cumberland Maryland.
Charges: Motor Vehicle Theft $1,500 – $25,000, Rogue and Vagabond, Tampering with Motor Vehicle, Rogue and Vagabond, and numerous traffic charges.
