On Monday,members of the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office and the Allegany County Combined Criminal Investigation Unit (C3I) arrested 39 year old Joshua Ian Cline, of Cumberland, shortly after he left a private residence on Kent Avenue in Cumberland. Cline was wanted on three open warrants for Failure to Appear on a variety of charges, including Possession of CDS, Burglary, Theft, and Driving While Revoked.
As a result of Cline’s arrest, members of the C3I Warrant/Fugitive Unit also arrested 27 year old Sarah Elizabeth Whiteman, of Cumberland, and charged her with Obstructing and Hindering and Harboring a Felon/Fugitive.
Cline is being held without bond pending an appearance before a Circuit Court Judge.
Whiteman has been released from the Allegany County Detention Center after posting $7500.00 bond, and is free pending her next court appearance.
