According to Cumberland Fire Chief Donnie Dunn, the city’s fire department ambulance crews responded to 33 calls outside the city limits in March. The department logged 438 ambulances calls for the month, an average of more than 17 calls per day. The growing number of calls requiring the city to respond too is the reason the City Council acted recently to terminate its mutual aid agreement with the county. City Administrator Jeff Rhodes….
