The way the debate has gone for several years, it’s probably easy to get confused. Yesterday, we ran audio from Allegany County Commissioner Creade Brodie Junior concerning the airport ownership:
Actually, the airport is owned by the Potomac Highlands Airport Authority, having been conveyed the property by the City of Cumberland several years ago. The airport board consists of four representatives from Allegany County, one from the City of Cumberland, and four from Mineral County.
