The 2019 Cumberland/Allegany County CROP Walk proved to be a tremendous success with 64 walkers raising more than $6,100. CROP (Christians Relating to Other People) holds the event each October to make others aware of hunger throughout the world and in Allegany County. Sandy Cowan, the Cumberland Walk Coordinator, tells WCBC News that walk benefit local food pantries as well as the Western Maryland Food Bank where the needs are continuing to rise.
