On Sunday, January 5th, 2019 the Cumberland Police Department served an arrest warrant on Jason Myles Roager for violation of presentence release. He was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center until he can be seen by a District Court Judge.

CDS/Warrant Arrests
On Sunday, January 5th, 2019 a Cumberland Police Officer was on patrol when he observed Samantha Jo Baker who was known to him to two outstanding arrest warrants. Baker was arrested for the open warrants and a search revealed hypodermic syringes in her possession. She was a charged with possession of controlled paraphernalia and served the arrest warrants for obstructing justice and violation of presentence release. Also in the company of Baker was a Garrett Patrick Smith. Smith had an open warrant through the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office for failing to appear for trial back on October 29, 2019. Smith was also found to be in possession of quantity of Suboxone. He was charged with possession of CDS and served his warrant. Both were remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center to await a bond review before the District Court Commissioner.

On Thursday, November 15th, 2018 the Cumberland Police Department served an arrest warrant on William Edward Ravenscroft. The warrant was issued by District Court when he failed to appear for trial on November 8th, 2018 for a driving on a suspended license charge. Ravenscroft was taken before the District Court Commissioner and released on a $1,000 bond pending trial.

On Thursday, November 15th, 2018 the Cumberland Police Department served an arrest warrant on Carl Nelson Bohrer. The warrant was issued when he failed to appear for trial in District Court back on September 6th, 2018 for a failure to obey a lawful order charge. Bohrer was taken before the District Court Commissioner and was released on his own personal recognizance pending trial.
