The Allegany County Commissioners voted to approve a $44,750 contract for a fairgrounds facilities plan, with 90 percent of the costs covered by a state program. According to the Request for Proposals (RFP) for the plan, it will lay out the future development of the “premier regional park that draws attendees from the county and surrounding states”.
