Commissioner Valentine Says BoE No Comment Policy Is Disservice To The Public

When a concerned grandparent recently addressed the Allegany County Board of Education with a list of concerns about Mountain Ridge High School- and actually called for an investigation into the administration there- the board members sat in silence, not responding. The reason for the lack of response is that it is board policy not to reply to comments from the public during the work session.
