Part of the revenues that will be generated by the 5% water rate hike that will go into effect in CityCumberland July 1- will allow the city to repair and replace aging and deteriorating water lines. City Administrator Jeff Rhodes reports that one of those will be the water line that services the Decatur and Glenn street areas.
