The Cumberland City Police served a Criminal Summons on Keonna Britton, age 24 of Cumberland. The Summons was issued due to a January 23rd incident that occurred in the 300 block of Davidson St. On January 23, 2018 the Cumberland Police responded to Davidson St for an assault complaint. Officer investigating the incident found that Britton had assaulted the victim with a trash can. Officers further observed injuries to the victim consistent with the assault. Subsequently the officer that investigated the incident applied for charges on Britton in District Court. A Criminal Summons was issued by District Court for Assault 2nd Degree. Britton was served with the summons and released pending trial.
The Cumberland City Police served a Criminal Summons on Kelly Cole, age 41 of Cumberland. The Summons was issued due to a January 21st incident that occurred at a business on Industrial Boulevard. On January 21, 2018, the Cumberland Police responded to a theft complaint on Industrial Blvd. Upon arrival officers learned that several flower pots had been stolen from the front of the business. Officer investigating the case developed Cole as a suspect and followed up on leads. Ultimately, officers were able to recover the stolen property, and applied for charges against Cole. A Criminal Summons was issued by District Court for Theft under $100. Cole was served with the summons and released pending trail.

On Thursday July 21, 2016, Cumberland City Police served a criminal summons on David Keller, age 19 of Cumberland, Maryland. The summons was issued by a private citizen who alleged that on July 10, 2016, Keller entered the victim’s residence and created a verbal disturbance. Keller was told by the victim repeatedly to leave and eventually did so without further incident. Keller was served and released pending trial at the Allegany County District Court.
