On Thursday, February 1^st, 2018 the Cumberland City Police responded to Martin’s market on Park Street for a shoplifting complaint.  When the officer arrived, he made contact with store security that had detained Steven Eugene Geant for attempting to steal approximately $30.00 worth of merchandise from the store.  Geant was arrested and transported to the Cumberland City Police Station and issued a criminal citation for theft and released pending trial.

 

Steven Eugene Geant, age; 58. Bedford Road, Cumberland.

Charge:  Theft less than $100.

Cited and released.
