The former Brunswick Hotel was razed in mid November after inspectors determined that the building was in unstable condition- and the city of Cumberland has now received the bill. Located at 203 Baltimore Street, at the corner of Queen City Pavement, the once-stately Brunswick had fallen into an unsafe condition in recent years. Built in 1886 it served as a hotel and tavern for more than a century. It’s now a vacant lot.
