The Cumberland Times News reports the Rocky Gap Casino Resort's numbers were down slightly in January. The casino brought in $2,973,875 from both slot machines and table games in January compared to $3,076,249 from both slot machines and table games in December, according to state gaming officials. The casino’s January revenue decreased by $55,436, or 1.8 percent, from January 2014. Rocky Gap Casino Resort operates 577 slot machines and 17 table games. On Thursday, the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency announced January revenue numbers for the state’s five casinos. The other state casinos are Hollywood Casino Perryville in Cecil County, Horseshoe Casino Baltimore in Baltimore City, Casino at Ocean Downs in Worcester County and Maryland Live Casino in Anne Arundel County. January’s combined statewide revenue totaled $84,966,720, according to the agency.
