The Canal Place Preservation and Development Authority will meeting Tuesday afternoon.
The board will receive information on the work of a task force looking into the agency, as well as updates on the Footer Dye Works building and the Rivers and Trails Festival.
There are also agenda items dealing with rebranding the heritage area, and discussion of the Transit Hub.
The Cumberland Mayor and City Council will conduct a work session Wednesday afternoon to discuss matters related to historic preservation.
The 3 PM session will include a review of local historic districts and national designations, existing programs for eligible properties, and consideration of a proposal to increase the local tax credit.

I’m sure that means that the Dig Deep Brewery will be opening any day now.
