Claiming that a commitment was made last June to purchase two new vehicles for the Allegany County Commissioners and the County Administrator- Commissioner Creade Brodie Jr. is demanding another vote to force the issue. During the most recent commissioners meeting, the county signed off on the purchase of several new vehicles for the sheriff’s department. At that time Brodie noted that the commissioners agreed in June of 2016 to purchase two new county vehicles prior to the end of FY 2017.
