Allegany County 911 dispatched units to a vehicle accident on Mount Savage Road near Barrelville Road.

One person was quickly extricated and transported to Western Maryland Health System by Mount Savage ambulance.  Units from Corriganville and Wellersburg also responded.

Maryland State Police investigated.  It is not known at this time if icy roads contributed to the crash.
