There is momentum building toward re-evaluating a policy that prohibits members of the Allegany County Board of Education from responding to constituents who ask questions or make statements during public meetings- as four of the five board members agree a change might be worth looking into. The policy has come under scrutiny in recent months with County Commissioner Bill Valentine saying its represents a lack of transparency and sends the wrong message to parents.
