A total of 14 fire companies responded to 12829 Bedford Road Saturday afternoon for a house fire.

It only took about 15 minutes to bring the blaze under control, and final units from Bedford Road Volunteer Fire Department cleared the scene just before 4 PM.

There were no injuries or transports by EMS as a result of the blaze.

The investigation into the cause is continuing.
