The Cumberland Times News reports an Everett man recently pleaded guilty to five counts of indecent assault of a person less than 13 years of age as well as one count of sexual intercourse with an animal, according to the Bedford County District Attorney's Office.
District Attorney Bill Higgins said Gordon Kinzey Jr., 44, admitted to molesting a 17-year-old female since she was 8 years old.
The allegations, which included inappropriate touching, were confirmed when state police obtained Facebook communications between Kinzey and the victim, followed by a recorded phone call between the two.
Investigation by police also found Kinzey had a horse fetish and revealed that two farmhands had witnessed him performing a sex act with a horse.
“Without question, Gordon Kinzey is a disgusting sexual deviant. Fortunately, as a result of these convictions, he will be required to register as a sexual offender for the rest of his life, so that parents can take precautionary measures to keep their children away from him,” Higgins said.
The plea agreement anticipates Kinzey will be sentenced to three to six years incarceration in a state prison, followed by five years' probation.
Sentencing has been tentatively scheduled for June 17, however, it will likely be continued until a sexual offender assessment can be completed, Higgins said.
Kinzey was being held Wednesday in the Bedford County Jail on $95,000 bond.
