On Thursday morning, Maryland Governor Larry Hogan marked the beginning of a 14-month long, $27.5 million demolition project of the Baltimore City Detention Center. The Maryland Board of Public Works approved the demolition back in June by a unanimous 3-0 vote. In ceremonies Thursday, Hogan said the facility had long been known as one of the worst prisons in America, where corruption and poor conditions were dangerous for employees and detainees will be replaced with a state of the art facility that will focus on treatment and rehabilitation…

Where are they keeping the inmates since they’re tearing one down and building one later where are they putting the inmates
