Authorities had been searching for an inmate they say escaped from a minimum-security correctional facility in Baltimore.
But around 2 pm Tuesday The Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services announced that 34-year-old Kenneth Sullivan had been found.
Sullivan had been reported missing at the 10 p.m. count at the Metropolitan Transition Center on Monday.
Department spokesman Gerard Shields says he doesn't have details on how Sullivan escaped or where the inmate was recaptured. He says Sullivan had six months left on his nine-year sentence for robbery. He is a registered sex offender.
Sullivan is described as a white man with green eyes, a bald head and a beard. He has a tattoo on the left side of his neck. He is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 190 pounds. His last known address was in Middle River.
