A threatening message was discovered today at Fort Hill High School and immediately reported to authorities.
Cumberland City Police officers deemed the threat to be non-credible prior to the need for any disruption to the school day. As a precaution, the school will be placed in lock-in and there will be increased police presence at the school for the remainder of the day.
Parents are encouraged to not report to the building so as not to disrupt normal dismissal procedures. Students and staff inside the building are not in any danger. Thank you again for your patience and cooperation.
