Perhaps caused by the upcoming holiday season, a lot of drunk drivers were on Maryland roads this past weekend. State Police says 18 alcohol related accidents were investigated over the weekend, those occurring in 10 different counties. Last year at the same time, 13 DUI accidents were reported. Six were reported Friday, eight Saturday, three Sunday and one before 1:00am Monday morning. State highway grants are allowing additional troopers to patroal the roads during the holiday season…
