On Monday, Allegany County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the area of Luke for a person tampering with vehicles.
Upon arrival, Deputies discovered a person fitting the matched the suspect’s description on Grant Street. The suspect, later identified as Nicolle Elizabeth Hebb 26 years old Thomas West Virginia attempted to flee as deputies approached her.
Hebb was detained on Grant Street until a further investigation was completed. Witnesses at the scene observed Ms. Hebb trying to gain entry into several vehicles on Grant Street and Verso Corporation parking lot.
Hebb did manage to steal a vehicle from the area, which belonged to a City of Luke employee, from across the street and drove it nearby to a park and ride lot. Ms. Hebb was approached by the victim, at which time Hebb ran from the scene and up Grant Street at which time was detained by police and subsequently arrested. After Ms. Hebb’s arrest, CDS was found along with another victim’s wallet on her person.
As a result Hebb was charged with Resisting arrest, Unlawful taking of motor vehicle, theft under $25,000, Theft less than $100, CDS paraphernalia, Possession of CDS not marijuana, 4 counts of Willful tampering with motor vehicles.
Ms. Hebb was held at $25,000 and is currently at the Allegany Detention Center.
