Tuesday evening at 7:22, Troopers from the Hagerstown Barracks responded to the Liberty Gas Station located at 20505 Jefferson Blvd., Hagerstown, in reference to a theft.
The suspect attempted to take the cash from the register drawer after it was opened. The clerk pulled the cash register away from the suspect. The suspect was unable to retrieve the entire cash register. The suspect was able to steal an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect exited the store and possibly entered a white Chevrolet S-10 pick up truck.
The suspect is described as a white male in his late 20s to early 30s, approximately 6’03, approximately 150lbs, brown hair with a thin beard. The suspect was wearing a red/grayish baseball cap, green zip up hoodie, blue jeans and tennis shoes that were blue and neon green.
