Potomac Edison crews responded to a power outage in the Midland and Lonaconing area Tuesday during the 7 PM hour.

PE's website gave 11 PM as the initial estimated time of service restoration, but crews were able to restore power by 8:30 PM.  The outage affects all of Midland and half of Lonaconing.

Bitterly cold temperatures increased the urgency of getting power back to those who rely electric for heat.
